Phineas Pope is a jazz pianist and organist currently serving as the Director of Music and Organist at Capitol Hill Christian Church in Des Moines, Iowa. Pope has played with several professional ensembles including the Des Moines Big Band, the Turner Center Jazz Orchestra, and NOLA Jazz Band, in addition to regularly gigging around the Des Moines metro with small groups. In addition to performance experience, Pope has worked in audio production and news reporting for Iowa PBS and Iowa Public Radio.
